Mixing old with new!

Converted into five apartments in the 1990s, we were fortunate to be invited to work on this special historic building. Our recent works included structural upgrades, layout changes, and the addition of an extra bathroom and bedroom to suit the family’s needs.

We also introduced new flooring, a modern kitchen, and extensive basement upgrades—transforming the home into a truly unique space that balances heritage character with modern living.

The design phase focused on integrating modern living requirements without compromising the buildings architectural heritage.

Key features of this home renovation included:

• Kitchen: Sleek cabinetry, appliances, and an open layout perfect for entertaining.
• Bathroom: Addition of a 2nd bathroom.
• Bedroom: Addition of a 3rd bedroom
• Living space: This home was rich with opportunity in its subtle nooks and quiet corners, which the design utilised with great effect.
• Future proofing: Being an older building some structural items were addressed
• Basement development

Despite the complexities of working on a heritage home, the Yourtradie team completed this project within the estimated timeline of six months and remained within the agreed budget.
